As someone from a tropical country, I understand how heat limits productivity, by making it simply too hot to work or worse, make you sleepy. But you can easily deal with that and continue getting things done.
During hot and humid days, all I’d want to do is take a nap. It really becomes harder to […]

I’m finding Mark “Easy Money” Terry a bit boastful. But at least he complements his statements with a genuine discussion on when to work for cheap. To wit:
Doing a book package deal for fiction may or may not have similar results. Would I be willing to write something like that for a relatively small amount […]

He started a thread by complaining about a “staggeringly stuffed” market for Spanish translators, which he cited as a cause for not being able to get any freelance translation gigs. So […]

Like most freelance employees, you probably juggle several projects at once. For that reason, you really need to hone your time management skills. There are many “life hacking” articles floating around the Web, but they rarely apply to someone in your unique job situation. Alas, here are eight tips for managing your time […]

What Every Freelancer Should Know is quite a quirky tips article, as writer Catherine Price jumps back and forth between barely-related ideas. Still, the unifying theme is still freelancing, and Price does a great job of capturing the challenges facing modern contract workers. While she provides tips on dealing with those evil taxmen and remaining […]
