I don’t know about you, but I’m getting sick and tired of using “Lorem Ipsum Domum” as filler text for my design mockups. So it’s a good thing Rico Sta. Cruz recently shared with me his easy-to-use filler text generator. Ironically, you can find it at loremipsumdolorsitamet.com. Read on to find out why it’s better than lipsum.net

1. It’s fast. Once you change the settings on top of the text box, new filler text is generated instantly.
2. It’s versatile. Aside from “Lorem Ipsum…”, the generator can also create text in actual English, “Jabberwock”, and even in my native language, Tagalog.
3. It’s downloadable. That’s right: on most browsers, pressing Ctrl+S allows you to save the generator on your computer and use it even when you’re not connected to the Internet!
