A Valuable Resource to Get Clients Inquiring Left and Right

Any freelancer marketing their skills online needs to know a thing or two about effective online persuasion. Among online marketing types, the process of attracting visitors and getting them to do what you want (in a freelancer’s case, submit a project inquiry) is called conversion.
I’ve learned a lot from the Conversion Squirrel. The dude holds fort over at www.conversion-rate-experts.com, and the first taste of his sensible, straightforward and practical conversion advice was over here.
Admittedly, 101 tips to boost conversion rates is a bit overwhelming, which is why I’m pleased to announce the recent launch of conversion rate expert’s brand new blog. The same sensible advice, in easy to digest blog posts. A great side effect of learning how to better convert prospects into paying customers or clients is that you can apply the same skills to helping future clients achieve their objectives.
Here are some more terms to get you going: the web page where you direct all your propspects to, through proposals, business cards, advertisements, etc., is called the landing page. The ratio of how many of your prospects turn into customers, over the number of your landing page’s visitors, is called the conversion rate.
