Firefox for Freelancers
Finally, a site that helps freelancers maximize their Firefox experience!
If you’re like me, you’ve long ago decided to leave Internet Explorer and make the switch to Mozilla Firefox. As a Contract Worker, I’ve found that the alternative browser allows me to get things done faster. The tabbed interface, while a great way to organize your surfing experience, isn’t Firefox’s big draw. Other browsers like Opera also have it, and so does the latest version of Explorer.
What makes Firefox stand out though are the thousands of Extensions available. Extensions, as you may know, are small programs that add to Firefox’s functionality, allowing it to do things like control iTunes or turn your GMail account into an online hard disk (a great way to backup small projects, by the way). It’s great that there’s a lot of them to choose from, but at the same you might have a hard time seeing which ones you really need.
Good thing this list of Firefox Extensions is presented in an easy-to-understand way. It lists down what people usually want to do with Firefox, and places a link to the appropriate Extension next to each need.
