Garr Reynold Just Performs to Make an Impact
I must admire Garr Reynold’s ability to expound on a simple concept. In fact, his post on Steve Jobs’ Keynote ‘08 presentation could be summarized into one sentence:
Yet what makes Steve so effective in these situations is that he is able to seemingly forget the seriousness of the situation and “just perform.”
But the other great example of Garr Reynold’s point is, interestingly enough, himself. By focusing on just producing great presentation content with a Zen flavor, Mr. Reynolds has made his own case. Of particular interest is the fact that just performing requires no fear of making mistakes—or a lack of perfection.
Perhaps freelancers should strive to “just perform”?
