Contract Worker - Freelancing Experiences

Keep Your Desk Neat For Under $35

I don’t know a contract worker who doesn’t use a computer, so this gem on Digg will prove useful. Van Mardian spent $33.42 for a pegboard, some hasps, screws, wooden dowels, styrofoam, and some wire. He used them to move those messy wires, peripherals, and external drives underneath his desk:

It’s probably a lazy Sunday as you read this. You might want to take the time to check out the instructions, print them out, buy the materials, and rig up your own desk. This is a great way to increase your productivity as you work at home. Everything’s neat, but whatever you need is still at hand. This cuts down potential distractions.
