Launching That Needed App Quickly
Quick! You need to open a certain application, and you’re too lazy to even look for it on your Start Menu, Dock, or whatever thingamajig your OS provides to make accessing your applications easy.
Well, if you’re already looking at a document of that program (let’s say you want to start Microsoft Word and you see a .doc file right in front of you), just double-click on it. Congratulations, you’ve launched the program! And you didn’t have to move your mouse too much to do it.
Now working on a new file is as easy as creating a new document (usually available through Ctrl+N or Command+N).
How easy was that?
