Making Money From Your Free Time
Vyoma recently featured one of his casual works on Kalaalog:
This digital painting is quite large - A4 size at 300 dpi. You can proceed to the deviantART entry if you wish to buy the prints or view a larger version. This is not one the best works I have done, but I have been experimenting with custom brushes and some workflow for working with large canvas size (and relatively smaller RAM). [emphasis mine]
That’s right: if anyone thinks Vyoma’s art is worth buying, they can easily do so on deviantART. If you’re just creating something for experimentation or practice, and manage to complete it, why not make it available as part of your portfolio or for sale online? Who knows, it could prove to be attractive for a potential client, or actually make you money. And making money from your free time is always a good thing, no matter how small.
