“So Why Should I Freelance Again?”
“Well, you get to wake up anytime you want.”
“Really? It’s hard to start working when it’s already 6pm.”
“True, but you can start working right away. It’s bed-laptop-eat-sleep for me.”
“Huh? When do you bathe?”
“Only when I go out.”
“No wonder you stink!”
“Hey! You’re the one who dropped by!”
“True. But then again, why cut myself off from those generous corporate benefits?”
“Like what?”
“Like a health plan.”
“Please… you’d probably ignore that HMO and pay for good medicine yourself!”
“True. But what about overtime pay?”
“True…”
“And the social interaction?”
“Please… you like your boss and co-workers, but you keep on complaining about how they’re distracting as hell!”
“Well, they’re not as bad as that manager who always tries to have me suspended. I swear, he’s out to get me or something!”
“See? It’s not as bad when your ‘boss’ is demanding over email!”
“Whatever…”
