Surviving the Weekend Hangover
I mean hangover literally. Oh, don’t play innocent! I’m sure at one point in your life you’ve had too much to drink on a Sunday night, even if you knew the work week would being the next day. I know I have. So how do you cope with that headache, general sense of nausea, and sluggishness?
There are a lot of puported remedies for hangover, but only one of them is most accessible and effective, at least from my experience: water.
That’s right, drinking lots of water helps your body recover the moisture it lost when you went binging. I’ve found that it helps me recover quickly from the few weekend hangovers I’ve experienced. Taking time to soak yourself up during the morning shower also helps.
At least you have something going your way. With the freedom allowed by freelancing, you can defer the start of your work week an hour or two while you let your body sort itself out. Then, fully recovered, you can get down to accomplishing projects and making a living. Have a wonderful work week dear readers!
