Only Brian Clark can tell you how to write in ten different ways. But, whether he knows it or not, he’s also created the perfect formula for success.
Just take his post on becoming a better writer, and replace “Write” with whatever you do. So if you do X, apply this list:
- X.
- X more.
- X even more.
- X even more than that.
- X when you don’t want to.
- X when you do.
- X when you have something to say.
- X when you don’t.
- X every day.
- Keep X-ing.
Of course, saying “practice makes perfect” is a lot more direct, but this way is so much cooler.
