The Future of Mozilla Firefox as a Productivity Tool is Great
More users browse this site with Internet Explorer than Mozilla Firefox (42.2% and 18.8% respectively, according to my stats), but I really think more surfers should start using Firefox. From personal experience, it really has provided me with a safer browser experience. The expandability of the browser allows some great added functionality, such as the mobility allowed by Google Browser Sync.
In short, I believe that Firefox presents more productivity benefits for those who work online, at least compared to Internet Explorer. The great news is that the beta version of Firefox 3, the latest incarnation of the increasingly popular browser features some great usability and speed improvements. I just downloaded it today and I am diggin firefox. fist off it gives me the spell check in any forms I am filling in on the browser (such as this) and the tabs allow me to browse and manage loads more windows. also in china (where i am) many sites are blocked so I have to use an anonomizer. IE does not load the java features but for some reason fire fox does. awesome…

I’m glad you like it too Avi. Btw, spell check was available since Firefox 2, and it really helped me a lot!

I also like how Firefox 3 is less strict with its AutoComplete. For instance, instead of listing only “www.beanbag.com” when you type out “bean”, it lists out “www.beanbag.com”, “www.bagofbeans.com”.

though I’m a Fx fan myself , i rally will hate to use Google Sync (had in the past) and if you’re comfortable with your Pvt information in a distant server and every site you visited tracked ..
Any extension installations and the like too…
Is it not too much information in one spot, though I do not have anything to hide from Google, which indexes everything except my head…I will REQUIRE that much privacy as to not use Google Browser Sync
