The Importance of Being Punctual

For 2007, I resolve never to be late again. Shamefully, friends, loved ones, and even clients expect me to arrive 30 minutes later than agreed.
Punctuality is important, because if you’re late, you not only waste your time, but other people’s. And I’m certain it gives potential clients a poor first impression.
While I was watching Show Biz Moms and Dads (it’s funny where I get insights nowadays), a film producer had something interesting to say about an aspiring actor:
“The presentation of his talent is as important as the talent itself.”
And this is another reason why punctuality is important. By showing clients that you’ll submit what he needs and be there on time, you’re giving him peace of mind. And freelancers who provide peace of mind are more likely to be hired.
