The Perfect Posture for Portable Productivity

by Rico on August 21st, 2007

As long as there’s a plug nearby, laptop owners can get things done anytime, anywhere. Of course, a flat surface and a chair helps.

This is where you have to be a bit discerning. Too often we go for the first table we find, even if there’s no room for our legs. Needless to say, such as workspace is uncomfortable.

As you’re straining your body, you spend energy ignoring the pain and discomfort. Energy that could’ve accomplished something. Things are definitely different when your legs have room to breathe:

In this position, you’re more relaxed. Both your back and elbows are supported, meaning you don’t have to “play through the pain” so to speak. Which is exactly why I’m using this posture as I type this.
