What Happens When Your Creativity Has No Framework?
Despite what the critics say, I found Freddy Got Fingered quite entertaining. At the very least, it was… surreal:
The unfocusedly weird Gordon Brody (played by the equally weird Tom Green) couldn’t find success as an animator because he placed no limits on his creativity (or “creativity”). That changed when Gordon came up with a concept that satirized his own family, coming up with a framework to control his imagination.
Whether you can stand Freddy Got Fingered or not, the fact that creativity needs restrictions in order to become effective remains true. What do you think?

Just scanning the b5 blogs and your comment about creativity needing restrictions jumped out. I was exposed to a concept in software development called agile which was designed to cater to innovation and creativity. It focused on the value of tasks vs. the cost. Yes you need structure, methodology, etc. but in business you can enhance good change by focusing on value.

Good addition Bob. At the very least focusing on value will surely make you a lot more normal than Tom Green. :)
