Why Spellcheck Alone Isn’t Enough
Lori makes me laugh with Phrases That are Just Wrong. She lists down some of the mistakes she’s encountered, proving once and for all that despite the improvements in spelling and grammar checks, nothing beats the proofreading power of human brain (or better yet, someone else’s brain).
Totally hilarious phrases like “We search pubic records” are complemented by more meaningful examples like “We’re better then the rest!”Now I’m too afraid to write; I’ll be much more careful with what I publish here, lest I find Lori laughing at me. :(

I have seen some horrid misspellings on product labeling before, and I’m sure we’ve all seen them on ads and in newspapers. But if they are misspelling the words on a product label what about what’s inside the container - I hope they are making that correctly - it makes you wonder how competent some companies really are.
