Why Warbook is a Productive Game
If you’re a Facebook user, you’ve probably tried out Warbook. It’s a very productive game, because it doesn’t require constant supervision.
Here’s how it goes: you’re a ruler trying to make your kingdom the biggest and most powerful possible. You do this by recruiting troops, improving your domain’s infrastructure, develop your own abilities, and of course, attack other kingdoms.
So why is Warbook a productive game? Instead of typical games that require all of your attention for hours at a time, Warbook represents just a few minutes of management per hour. You can decide to attack an enemy, propose some trade agreements, build up your kingdom, or any combination of the three. After that you’ll have to wait for the next hour (your earn income on an hourly basis) before you can do anything.
Which means of course, you can get busy for most of the hour, then take a break whenever your Warbook kingdom earns money. It’s a perfect setup, one that lets you get things done while having some fun on the side.

Yes, such games don’t destroy the new generation of children although I have to admit I still devote much of my time playing games that requires hours of supervision. *blush*
P.S Maybe you can try to make the mail and the website field optional. It’s a bit irritating. No offense though, just a suggestion. =)

Haha, don’t worry, any game takes some time getting used to.
Sorry Hong En, I don’t own this blog, I only write for it. But I think your email and website are saved as cookies on your computer, so the next time you comment here, you don’t have to type them in anymore. :)

i think it’s a great game for someone who’s trying not to get too addictive to a pc game (me). depending on your preferences, you can become an aggressive or defensive kingdom. it can be frustrating if you get bullied by someone else (which happens all the time if u play enough mmorpg games) but that depends on how smart u play the game. I think this will be the perfect game to play if your working or studying. I personally take breaks to play warbook while studying. it’s fun :)

I agree that the game is good for studying use, i just recently finished studying, but what i do is i study for 1 hour or 2 hours and then i check up on my acount for about 20 minutes its a nice break and it gets your mind off algebra and other junk for a while.

Warbook is THE game i have managed to play consistantly. This is purely due to the fact that it only requires a little attention now and again

This makes me laugh.
Whoever says warbook is not addicting and doesn’t take up hours of your time, has obviously not played the game.
I’ve tried to quit warbook several times. I fail each time.
I also know others who have tried to quit 4 even 5 times…all fail.
I’ve been in that game since August. Don’t try to tell me it’s not addicting….

I don’t dude, maybe you need something else to distract you? I stopped playing WarBook before 2007 ended, so maybe the addiction is on a case-to-case basis.

No, warbook is not addicting at all, I check my account once per day and make sure all is in order. build troops, get land, and thats it. You must have no will power if you play every hour.

Come back in the game…you can’t just let a kingdom sit if you want to win anything…

Have you looked at my account? To be honest, I’ve gotten tired of the game. There seemed to be no point in attacking just to gain land and moolah.
