Wordpress Theme Creation, The Easy Way
Well, we all know how popular Wordpress is. Less clear to me however, is the proper use of all those code hooks to get a Wordpress theme working properly—according to the specs of your design, and across many types of browsers.
That’s why the ongoing contest at WooThemes represents a great opportunity, at least for me. Expert knowledge of building a Wordpress theme isn’t a requirement to enter. All you have to do is submit a design composite/concept for a Wordpress theme, made in Photoshop, Fireworks, or Illustrator. Full details here.
Of course, the hard part is coming up with a submission that elicits the most number of positive comments, once it’s up on Flickr. If you do win however, the WooThemes will take care of all the coding, while you stand back and accept credit as the theme designer. Not to mention $2000! A great deal, don’t you think?
